Rafael has been charge with improper conduct, Patrice Evra claims unbeaten isn’t the goal, Dimitar Berbatov targets the Golden Boot, and Danny Welbeck is set to undergo an operation.

I have returned from a weekend getaway, which means Stretty Stories is back for another week. While Manchester United was busy getting a fantastic result against Liverpool over the weekend, there was still plenty of news surrounding Old Trafford. Today’s Stretty Stories will include today’s news plus some of the top stories from the weekend.
Hope you’re all doing well after yesterday’s fantastic results. One of our stories is, of course, that United were the big winners on a night when they didn’t even kick a ball. Also in the news, Sir Alex Ferguson wants to win the FA Cup, Old Trafford may be Roy Hodgson’s last stand, and Javier Hernandez is enjoying life at Old Trafford.
Silly season is in full swing, but news has remained surprisingly quiet around Old Trafford. No new speculation to report. Matt James has been recalled from his loan at Preston North End, Kiko Macheda is looking forward to his loan, and Nani wants to be invincible. The big news today is not in the papers though; a certain Ecuadorian winger has reached an important milestone on his return from a long-term injury.
Stretty Stories is officially back from the holiday hiatus. Much of the press surrounding Manchester United today involves the club’s youngsters. Kiko Macheda has been loaned to Sampdoria for the remainder of the season, Nicky Ajose has reportedly been offered a new deal by United, and James Chester will complete a move to Hull City today. There are also reports that Wigan would request Gabriel Obertan on loan should Tom Cleverley be recalled.
In today’s news the Qatar royal family hopes to buy Manchester United and Carlos Tevez wants a reunion with Sir Alex Ferguson.
No major developing stories today with most of the press focusing on the build up to the match against Arsenal. That said, I’d like to suggest all of you read Doron’s match preview to prepare for what should be a fantastic game. To all of our loyal readers, have a fantastic match day.
