Something we’ve wanted to do for a little while is a regular podcast. Not only are they quite fun to record but it’s a chance to share our thoughts in a slightly more relaxed, less formal manner. We’re very lucky that Phil over at the fabulous Beyond The Pitch is a Man United fan so we’ve partnered up with him to produce a podcast!

Topics covered:

Paul Pogba

Rumoured to be on his way out this summer with the assistance of super-agent Mino Raiola, we examine the factors leading to their exits to gauge whether the increasing wages now paid to youth players has now reached Manchester United. With certain ramifications on the business model and pay structure at the club, how may this test the club in the long-term given that resale value is now a huge factor when buying and acquiring talent?

Athletic Bilbao

How seriously does Fergie view the Europa League tournament and what combinations may he need to stick with as the business end of the season approaches?

Patrice Evra

At what point do we need to start thinking about a new left back? Evra’s form this season has been by no means bad but has been below his form of previous seasons. Will the club need to pursue another left back this summer?

The Manchester Derby

Everything’s pointing to this game being pivotal but who do we think will be on top by then?

Reserves and Academy

This may be a common theme on the podcast in the future given our interests but this week we touch on a few of the players impressing at both Reserves and Academy level.

In the future, expect to hear other members of Stretford-End.com joining both Phil and Doron on the podcast as well as plenty of special guests
