Manchester United are ready for their final match of 2024, as Ruben Amorim chose his 11 to face Newcastle. Andre Onana is in goal, with Harry Maguire leading the back three. Either side of him are Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez, who this time captains the side in the absence of suspended Bruno Fernandes. Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot once more take up the wing-back positions, while in between the two of them are two central midfielders – this time these two are Christian Eriksen and Casemiro. Amad Diallo gets the chance alongside Joshua Zirkzee in attacking midfield, while it is Rasmus Hojlund who leads the attack as a striker.
