Manchester United take on Liverpool this Sunday in a game seen as the biggest of the Premier League season. With the controversy of the Evra/Suarez situation hopefully in the past, we can concentrate on what’s likely to be a red hot contest. With 14 red cards issued in recent history a lot will be expected of Howard Webb to keep things under control. The last five games between the sides have seen two wins each and a draw suggesting that form may not necessarily count for a lot. Here we take a look at each sides season so far, injuries, a potential United line up for the match and a superb view from the opposition. Comments are welcomed from both sets of fans.

We welcome Sunderland to Old Trafford on Saturday, looking to build on Sunday’s fantastic result at The Etihad and at least maintain our 6 point advantage over Man City. Fresh in the memory of the players and fans will be Sunderland fans ‘doing the Poznan’ celebration at the end of last season as City clinched the title at the death. Whilst revenge shouldn’t be the motivating factor for the win this Saturday it is essential we continue Sunday’s form against a Sunderland side buoyed by a comprehensive win over Reading in midweek. Here we discuss the match preview, lineups and injury news – welcoming comments from both sets of fans.

Manchester United again came from behind to claim all three points at Old Trafford against bottom club QPR. United went 1-0 down to a Jamie Mackie strike, before relying on Evans, Fletcher and Hernandez to finish the game. We were lucky enough to have a great ‘view from the opposition’ in our QPR match preview on Friday, which you might find interesting. Here we discuss the Talking Points from the match and welcome comments from both sets of fans.

As the international break ends and we welcome back Premier League football, it’s Wigan Athletic that make the trip to Old Trafford on Saturday. United will be looking to hit back after an unconvincing victory at Southampton and will have revenge on their minds after the defeat at the DW Stadium last season which contributed to the loss of the league title. We preview the game and look for your thoughts on what is usually a home banker for the reds.

The weekend saw United travel to the Midlands to take on the Wolves and I was one of the lucky few able to get a ticket and support the team. As a way to spend the time on the coach constructively (well more constructively than reading the Sunday papers) I decided to pen a little diary of the day…

We’ve been extremely lucky as Manchester United fans, we’ve had stability for over twenty five years in the management of our club. Whilst we have had changes in ownership, playing staff and coaching staff, the man at the helm has been there through out.

Hello again.

In September I wrote an article for Stretford-End.com about my battle with depression and how football was helping me deal with the daily battle of it. At the time I was coping with my battle and felt I was getting it in check, however I am writing this after being off sick for 6 weeks suffering what may be the most difficult period of my battles.
