Manchester United need the three points at home against BSC Young Boys to get closer to a potential knockout berth in the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League. And with that in mind, Jose Mourinho has chosen the starting XI. The idea is to leave behind the putrid performance against Crystal Palace this past weekend.

Arguably the biggest change is the absence of Alexis Sanchez, who didn’t even make the bench. Plus, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku will start on the bench, while Antonio Valencia will be the starting right-back.

The rest of the lineup, as follows:

Starting XI

De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Shaw; Matic, Fellaini, Fred; Lingard, Rashford, Martial

Substitutes

Romero (GK), Andreas, Mata, McTominay, Bailly, Pogba, Lukaku
