Manchester United have bought Anthony Martial from Monaco for an massive £36million fee on a four year contract, with an option to extent by a further year. Martial becomes United’s third most expensive signing of all time, behind Angel Di Maria (£59.7million) and Juan Mata (£37.1million) and the world’s most expensive teenager in the history of football.

The youngster is yet to make an appearance for the French national team, but has represented Les Blues at youth level. Martial scored eight goals in 31 games last season for Monaco, who signed the player for only £4.4million from Lyon two years ago.
I am so excited to be joining Manchester United. I have always wanted to play in the Premier League and to join the biggest club in the world is what every young footballer dreams of.”

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville’s reaction to the signing of Martial
The price for Martial is big. However it's not the boys fault and I happen to think he's a very good player. Needs a chance. He's young

36 million for striker nobody has heard of
15 million charlie austin 18 goals last season
Do the maths people
Sold Welbeck for £16mil and RVP for £4.7mil. Purchased an unpopular 19 y.o young chap who is inconsistent for £36mil. Instead of adding new central back, we offload more from the team and even reduce the number of main central forward and I mean real strikers. Trust me, Man utd will NEVER win the EPL as long as LVG is in-charge. Obviously he is destroying the world biggest club.
Man Utd will fall behind Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and maybe even Liverpool at the end of this season and I believe LVG will be pleased with the result.
Lads, I really think you should give the boy a chance. An absolute mammoth fee – but surely, at 19, he is a developing talent and needs to be given a chance. He is highly rated by Lyon, Monaco and the FFF – its an exciting signing for United!
19 yr old stricker wt dat huge amount of money.i dnt blame dat boi bt dat stupid lvg wt bad philosophy. I even prefere hanadez dan on famous matial.
nd to say fact lvg is spoiln united 4 us.
