Win a chance to play poker at Old Trafford with some Manchester United legends
Few United fans are lucky enough to step out and play at Old Trafford, as we did last May!. However, courtesy of Party Poker, Red Devils fans are being given the opportunity to play poker at the field of dreams, and rub shoulders with United legends of the past.
The Road to Old Trafford poker competition is set to be held on August 9th and 10th, with fans being handed the once-in-a-lifetime chance to play cards at the legendary football stadium, courtesy of Party Poker. The event is expected to attract a lot of United fans and avid poker players, and the Premier League champions are making a weekend of it with other attractions to tempt potential participants.
Not only will competitors get the chance to spend time and potentially win big at Old Trafford, a VIP package has been designed to attract punters. A stay at a luxurious 4* hotel is the beginning, with the chance to get immersed in life at United the pinnacle. You may even be lucky enough to rub shoulders with United greats such as Dwight Yorke, Bryan Robson and Norman Whiteside.
Event tickets and package tickets are currently available for purchase from the Party Poker website. A seat at the two-day tournament will cost £250, while to buy the entire package costs £650. Both include a £20 donation to charity.
Some lucky fans will win their way to the competition however, with Party Poker giving away seats at the competition and event packages between May 27 and August 4. For your chance to win a spot at the event for free, enter Party Poker’s qualifying competitions, and if you prevail you could be at Old Trafford for an all-expenses paid trip of a lifetime.
The first day of the competition will start at 12 noon on Friday, August 8, with registration an hour earlier. The second day of the event on Saturday, August 9 also starts at 12 noon.
For those who buy or win a package deal, you will be able to check into the 4* Midland Hotel on Thursday, August 7 from 3pm, and there will be a welcome party that night from 8pm. On the Saturday VIP stadium tours and museum visits will take place. Finally, the Player Party starts at 9pm at the Bijou Club on Saturday, which promises to entail a wild night.
