Here are the latest Manchester United news.

Lukaku Could Be On The Move

The main story is that Romelu Lukaku could be on the move and, to be precise, he could be going to Italy. Several media outlets are writing about the Belgian striker being tempted to move there and ever since his agent said that Lukaku would like to play in Serie A one day, the rumours about such a move are not stopping.

But this time this could actually make sense, as some other things are happening in Italy. Inter Milan could fail to reach Champions League qualification on the last day of the season and reportedly the club is ready to sack Luciano Spaletti and appoint Antonio Conte instead. Some even say it will not matter where Inter finish in the league.

Conte already wanted to sign Lukaku at Chelsea two years ago, but instead the Belgian moved to Manchester and the Italian coach got Alvaro Morata instead. This one could be very interesting…

Man United Look At Adrien Rabiot

English media are also talking about Adrien Rabiot. The French midfielder will be officially out of contract on 1 July, when his deal with Paris Saint-Germain comes to an end. We already talked about Rabiot being the player Devils should be looking at. He is talented, he still did not reach his potential and there is space for him to grow, but he already has a lot of experience for a 23-year-old. With him coming on a free transfer, Devils would save some money for other necessary deals and also Rabiot would get a chance to reunite with compatriots Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial. According to Metro, the club are weighing up whether they should make a move for Rabiot or not.

Is De Ligt Still An Option?

Could Manchester United still be in the race to sign Ajax’s Matthijs De Ligt? It looks unrealistic, but Metro are reporting what Sport had to say about this.

“According to Sport, Man United are also among the ‘leading contenders’ for De Ligt and have made a ‘significantly improved’ bid for the young centre-back. A fortnight ago, De Ligt rejected a €14m-a-season (£12.3m-a-season) offer from the Old Trafford outfit.”

If this is the case, than Man United really are going big for the Dutch centre-back prodigy. But it seems to come a bit out of the blue that the Devils are offering him £235k per week. Whether there is any true here, we are about to find out.

Man United Had To Go For Julian Brandt

And the last, but not the least. We talked here recently about the players Manchester United should thinking to move forward for and maybe sign them and on that list was Julian Brandt. The German signed a deal with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, as Bayer Leverkusen got 25 million euros for him. And that is the main thing – how is it possible that Man United (and other big clubs) did not make that same move, because 25 million was his release clause. In a market where Man United are paying double that for Fred, Brandt for 25 would be beyond bargain.

Sure, Dortmund are playing in Champions League and potentially fighting for the Bundesliga title, but Man United still have some allure and financial power too.
