He may not be with us this season, but he is still one of us. On behalf of the Stretty Rant team I would like to wish a happy birthday to Danny Welbeck. The England striker celebrates his 20th birthday today. Welbeck has recently enjoyed brilliant performances on loan with Sunderland, scoring three goals in his past two appearances. Speculation has been building that Welbeck may join Sunderland on a permanent basis, but for the time being he’s our player so let’s all wish him a happy birthday!
