Anderson breaks silence to re-assure United fans

Anderson

United midfielder Anderson has spoken to re-assure the clubs supporters about his condition following his brush with tragedy and also inform them of his desire to return to the team.

The Brazilian was involved in a serious car crash on Saturday morning but broke his silence, speaking to the Daily Mail, to tell Red Devils supporters he is okay to continue his return from injury.

“I am very lucky because the accident was serious. I knew the road well, but the car lost control at a curve and we crashed against a wall. I remember people coming to help, which I am very grateful for.”

“I just want to tell United fans I am fine and I will continue my rehabilitation so I can help the team. I’ve had lots of calls and have assured my friends not to worry, but it was a very big scare for me.”

We have backed 22 year old Anderson and want him to succeed at Old Trafford but refrained from commenting on the matter until more facts came to light. Those facts are still unclear but the comments made by Anderson do at least signal that he is serious about returning from injury and reflects favourably on his good relationship with United fans.

  1. I’ve also always supported Anderson, and really hope this accident will have brought him to his senses, so to speak.

  2. I hope he is ok I have three children of my owen its not easy for youmg people today.Children living away from home are under a lot of pressure hope someone puts a arm around him .

  3. I really hope that Ando can live up to his potential. I believe though, as has been said on this website in comment, that SAF should use him higher up the pitch to get the best out of him – that was where he was playing for Porto, which is how he will have come to the scouts attention.

    Good luck Ando!

  4. Anderson’s a zealous warrior whose midfield battle is a joy to watch, i am already looking forward to his eventul return to action at OT. He deserves to be at United for life, hopefully, SAF knows that. All i can do now is thank God that he is still alive and wish him a speedy recovery
