Manchester United are actively looking to strengthen their squad with additional talent this summer. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, United are now pursuing a dual acquisition from Bayern Munich. Despite already securing Yoro, United remain keen on Matthijs de Ligt, the highly-rated Dutch centre-back. However, de Ligt is not the only Bayern player on United’s radar. Noussair Mazraoui, who plays as a right-back, is also being considered for a move to Old Trafford.
Negotiations for both players are understood to be underway, with United’s interest in Mazraoui potentially linked to their plans for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Mazraoui, who is eager to reunite with Erik ten Hag, could be a key addition if Wan-Bissaka is sold. Reports indicate that United’s valuation of Wan-Bissaka is around £10-15m, which might impact the final decision on Mazraoui’s transfer.

David de Gea, the former Manchester United goalkeeper, is poised to make a return to professional football in Italy. The 33-year-old Spaniard, who has been without a club since his contract with United expired last year, is reportedly in discussions to join Serie A club Genoa.
De Gea enjoyed a distinguished 12-year career at Old Trafford, having been signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2011. During his tenure, he amassed 545 appearances and won one Premier League title, an FA Cup, two League Cups, and the Europa League. His experience and reputation as a top-class goalkeeper make him a valuable addition for any team.
Although De Gea received offers from Saudi Arabia and MLS, he opted to wait for a suitable opportunity, which now appears to be with Genoa. The Italian club will commence their Serie A campaign against defending champions Inter Milan on August 17, and De Gea’s potential arrival could be a significant boost for the team.
