Launched today around Old Trafford is the brand new fanzine brought to you by “Red Army”. Stretford-End.com is proud to be a contributor and lend it’s voice to give you something different to think about while you’re waiting for kick off; and maybe give you one or two talking points over the post match beer.
Issue one is on sale today around the ground before the Liverpool game, if you’re travelling to the game and reading this on our iPhone app, be sure to get one. If you can’t make the game, don’t worry, you can still get the fanzine delivered to you by ordering online.
Published in the first ever issue is my recent piece about the Daily Mirror and how their vindictive timing of the Wayne Rooney “story” was the straw that broke the camel’s back, and should prompt a boycott of the tabloid newspaper from United fans.
Other United sites contribute too; the ever excellent United Rant are included, with an article about Darron Gibson. Importantly, as the cover says, it’s a vehicle for the fans by the fans. There are, of course, excellent established fanzines out there already, but Red Army Fanzine offers a viable alternative and after giving it a read I can safely recommend it.
