Ronaldo to return on Wednesday

Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing to return to the starting line up for the European Champions in Wednesday's Champions League match against Villarreal - whilst also taking a swipe at Manchester City in the process.
Ronaldo, who picked up the European Golden boot for his goal scoring exploits from last season, is believed to be ready to return to first team action having recovered from ankle surgery. The winger was expected to be out until October but could feature in the Champions League against Villarreal and will be on the bench against Chelsea next weekend.
Ronaldo commented on the fact that Manchester City had not won anything for a number of years and that the money can help towards that. He then compared the situation at City with Chelsea, who hadn't won the Championship since 1955 - their only previous league win. He also added "Money doesn't make a club great and it's not the most important thing, but I am not the one making the decisions, so you never know in the future."
It will be interesting to see the reception Ronaldo will be given having flirted with the idea of a move to Real Madrid over the summer. He will be hoping to help United recover from a quiet start to the season - which includes a 2-1 defeat to arch rivals Liverpool.
