Rossi back to United?

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he is considering buying back Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal.
Rossi signed for Villarreal in the summer of 2007 and had a impressive first season leading 'El Submarino Amarillo' to runners up spot in La Liga. Many Reds were sad to see the American-Italian leave Old Trafford having seen him perform well in the reserves and a number of first team fixtures.
Rossi signed for United in the summer of 2004 from Italian side Parma, after forming an impressive partnership with former Arsenal striker Lupoli in the Parma youth teams. Sir Alex Ferguson always admitted that it was difficult to let the youngster leave the club but understood as to why he needed to get first team football.
Ferguson was speaking with a Sunday newspaper and was quoted as saying "He's a good player, in fact, an excellent player. It was difficult to let him go to Villarreal. It was based on the fact that he wanted first-team football and we couldn't guarantee him that. When they offered the money they did for him and we got the buy-back clause, it became attractive to us. We'd consider buying him back. We will keep our options open."
