Fergie eyes Barcelona threat
Sir Alex Ferguson believes that FC Barcelona are the biggest threat to United's European Cup crown as Ferguson looks to Rome in May.
Manchester United have been drawn at home on April 7th to FC Porto - whilst the return leg is scheduled for the following Wednesday. If United beat FC Porto - they face a semi-final clash against either Villarreal or Arsenal. United lost 3-2 overall the last time the Reds faced Porto and Fergie will be hoping to correct that. However, rather than concentrating on Porto - Fergie focused his attention on La Liga leaders FC Barcelona.
Ferguson said "Barcelona are the form team, they have been terrific this season and everyone is taking notice of them Their first-half performance against Lyon in the second leg of the first knock-out round (which they won 5-2 at the Nou Camp) was absolutely brilliant, they were four up in no time. They can be a threat to anybody and are quite rightly one of the favourites."
