Fletcher Everton Target

Scottish International, Darren Fletcher, has emerged as a transfer target for Everton, who will be aiming to break into the top four.
Fletcher, who played in 24 games and scored two goals (both against Arsenal), receives a mixed reaction from United fans who although appreciate his work rate do not believe he has the overall quality to play at the top level. Stretford-end.com are a big fan of Fletcher and would point out that he usually plays well in the big games and has a fantastic engine to combine with a decent passing ability.
The Edinburgh born midfielder is apparently top of David Moyes wish list and is highly regarded at Goodison park. Fletcher has found his appearances limited since the arrival of Brazilian midfielder Anderson at the start of last season. His limited appearances were also due to a significant amount of injuries the Scottish international suffered.
Fletcher has made a total of 172 appearances for United and scored nine goals.
