Rossi rejects United return

Giuseppe Rossi has quashed rumours that he could indeed quit Villarreal for a return to Old Trafford.
Rossi has been a revelation in Spain since he signed from United in 2007 and has recently added to his 11 La Liga goals this season. Many reds believe that Rossi had a future at Old Trafford but it was reported that the young Italian wanted first team football and joined the Spanish outfit of Villarreal. United had a clause in his transfer to Villarreal allowing them first refusal to sign Rossi if they decided to sell him.
Rossi commented on his playing time in England and Sir Alex Ferguson: "There is no position between myself and Manchester United. I am with Villarreal and that's it. I didn't get a chance to play in England. That was the main reason I wanted to get some experience and that's what I have been doing with Villarreal. So far I am very happy with that.I have no plans to move back, but then we have no idea what happens in the future. I don't have a point to prove to Alex Ferguson. I just go out and give 100 per cent for my team. Moving on is not on my mind at all - I just want to do well and then we will see."
