Hargreaves back for August
Owen Hargreaves is expected to return to action in time to be fit for the new season.
Hargreaves has been a long term injury concern for United, who signed from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2007. The industrious midfielder has only featured in three games this season, compared to thirty five last term.
Hargreaves played an important part in the Champions League final in May scoring a crucial penalty in the shoot out and putting in a superb performance on the right hand side of midfield. Reports had linked United to Lassana Diarra, who is now at Real Madrid, as a possible replacement for Hargreaves.
