Ballon d'Or winner feels at home in Manchester

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that, after picking up the Ballon d'Or this evening, that he is happy in Manchester and has been for the past five and a half years.
The usually vain star was accused of being arrogant in the past couple of week when he was reported to have said that he would finish in first, second and third place for the award - something Ronaldo was quick to deny.
Ronaldo was quoted as saying "I never said that I was the best player in the world. I always said that I was well-placed to win the Ballon d'Or. I have always had a lot of respect for the other players. It is not necessary to say who is the best player in the world, but who has an advantage, and I was carried along by this hope. All the players nominated had the possibility of winning this prize. Me, I have had this possibility and this privilege, but all the nominees had the qualities to win the award."
Ronaldo then tried to quash any more suggestions that he is looking for a way out of United by stating "I have played for five years with Manchester United, a club where I feel at home. I arrived there very young, and I have won individual and team titles."
