Evra banned for four games and fined

Evra has been banned for four games and fined £15,000 for his part in the Stamford Bridge fight after the 2-1 defeat last season.
United lost to a Michael Ballack brace having clawed back to a 1-1 draw - which would have left United in a very promising position with two games left to play. However, it was the events that followed the game that received the most headlines.
Patrice Evra was involved with a scuffle with Chelsea groundsman Sam Bethell - who allegedly made racist remarks towards the left back. A United statement read "Manchester United notes the announcement from the FA and is disappointed with the decision and in particular considers the sanctions against Patrice Evra excessive".
