Chelsea's John Terry doubt's United can hack it

Champions League and Premier League runner up captain, John Terry, doubts United can reach the heights of last season and states "I don't think they've got another level to go to".
John Terry, who would have been a Stamford Bridge hero had he not missed the fifth and decisive penalty, was responding to comments made by Sir Alex Ferguson who had reportedly stated that Chelsea were "too old" to compete with the Champions next season.
Terry was quoted as saying "I think he (Sir Alex) realises we weren't too far away from them when they were at the very top of their game last season"."I don't think they've got another level to go to. They've had a lot of players in their team who have hit the peak of their form in the last two years. Rio's been awesome in the last two years. Ronaldo's been unbelievable – I don't think we'll ever see that again."
Terry spoke favorably about Phil Scolari and praised the purchases made by the Brazilian in the summer. He said: "I think we can close the gap on them. The manager's made some great signings."
It has been widely reported that John Terry will lose the captaincy to European Cup winner Rio Ferdinand. The decision will be announced by Fabio Capello later this week.
