Fergie: Time is running out
Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has revealed that time is running out for the Premier League and European Champions to sign anyone before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
United have been constantly linked with a move for Dimitar Berbatov, who was left out of the Tottenham Hotspurs squad last Saturday. Ferguson has not commented on the Berbatov transfer speculation but has hinted that the United need to strengthen in attack.
Fergie remarked: "There is only a week to go and you start to concern yourself a little bit. I think we showed we have got good quality. We would like to add obviously, but we just have to wait and see what happens.".
Sir Alex Ferguson was speaking after Manchester United's solid away performance against Portsmouth on Bank holiday Monday. United won the game 1-0 with a goal from Darren Fletcher.
