Fergie on playing the 'United way'

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was over the moon with his side's dramatic 3-2 win yesterday - and in a post match interview discussed the importance of playing the 'United Way'.

United were trailing 2-1 with 10 minutes left to play when World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to score a left footed shot past Brad Freidel. United then continued to attack the Stretford End and finall got their just reward when youngster Federico Macheda netted a superb winner.

Fergie said after the game:"Winning is the name of the game at this club. We play the right way we deserved the result today because we try to win the match. Yes we take risks but risks are a part of football. This club has been built like that and been this way for a long time and I love the thrill of it myself. Yes we take terrible risks and we don't defend properly, we didn't defend well with the goals today but there's always a goal threat with us and a chance to win the match and that is even more exciting than anything."
