		<description>I have to say I agree wit this post and always wonder why certain pundits have a fascination with having a crack at zonal marking. As a Liverpool fan, I was amazed at the defending last season, especially compared to this, and the system seems so logical.

What a lot of people also miss is the fact that it&#039;s only the 4 &#039;defenders&#039; who use the strict zones, with the other temporary defenders marking men. The number of times i&#039;ve seen man-marking systems used to very poor effect is countless.

Maybe it&#039;s a fear of the new &#039;foreign&#039; ways??
