Manchester United are getting ready for their 2018/19 UEFA Champions League opener.
José Mourinho’s men travelled to Bern to take on the reigning Swiss Super League champions, BSC Young Boys. It might look like an easy fixture on paper, but United fans should be careful here. Let’s remember The Red Devils lost to FC Basel last season when playing on Swiss soil.
Mourinho is keen to avoid that result this time around. And with that in mind, here is the STARTING XI announced for this one:
Starting XI
David De Gea; Diogo Dalot, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelöf, Luke Shaw; Nemanja Matic, Fred, Paul Pogba; Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial.
Confirmed Bench
Sergio Romero (GK), Eric Bailly, Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata, Andreas Pereira, Alexis Sanchez
We might agree or disagree with the lineup. But we can only hope this team can lead United to an opening win in the Champions League. The team certainly needs it.
Its A Good Lineup I Just Pray We Win With 5+ Goals.
